Owners of the new breed of Chevrolets like the Spark and Cruze models need never forget their car is the latest in a long and proud performance lineage, when they download the latest iPhone app recently released by Chevrolet.
The 'Drive the Noise' iPhone app has been developed with real samples from some of the best high-performance Chevrolets and will transform that humdrum journey into the office on a wet morning into an entertaining performance car experience.
Drivers can choose a number of simulations including the iconic Corvette or Camaro or, if you're in the mood after watching the latest round of WTCC racing at the weekend, the Chevrolet Cruze World Touring Car.
The app works using special software that detects movement within the vehicle. Spark drivers are well catered for as the device can be used via the USB socket in the cabin. But Drive the Noise can also be used outside the car – warn pedestrians of your imminent arrival by using it out on a bike ride perhaps, or if you are brave enough, on the train to entertain other passengers…
Drive the Noise is compatible with a number of the latest Apple products, including the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. It is available to download completely free of charge at the iTunes on-line store at www.apple.com/itunes
So, the next time Chevrolet drivers find they are bored with their CD collection or fed-up with the local radio station, they now have the perfect alternative.
