Chevrolet And Muller Awarded Their WTCC Trophies At FIA Gala In Monaco

ZURICH – WELLINGBOROUGH, 13th December 2010 – It was honours time for the Cruze last Friday evening in Monaco, as Yvan Muller and Chevrolet were officially awarded their World Champion trophies at the traditional FIA Prize-giving gala.
While the Cruze had the privilege to be on stage at Salle des Etoiles in the Sporting d’été, Yvan Muller and Eric Nève, on behalf of Chevrolet, collected their prizes and Rob Huff the trophy for 3rd-classified in this year’s WTCC.
Before that, on Wednesday and Thursday, Yvan Muller conducted with entire satisfaction another 2-day test session in Valencia with the new Cruze 1.6 turbo, which continues its program of testing and development.
Today, Chevrolet is releasing the video clip “World Champions” that makes an account, in 2 minutes 40 seconds, of the victorious WTCC 2010 campaign, which has seen Chevrolet finishing on the podium in 21 race out of 22, claiming 7 wins and taking home both the title for Manufacturers and for Drivers.
