Chevrolet has partnered with Mofilm, a global community of filmmakers, in launching a global video competition about the award-winning Chevrolet Volt electric car.
In Chevrolet's centenary year, film makers are asked to create short films that capture the passion and practicality of Chevrolet and the Chevrolet Volt. Chevrolet was founded by Louis Chevrolet in 1911, through his passion for providing better designed, better equipped cars that are accessible for everyday life. His vision continues to inspire Chevrolet, which today is GM's largest global brand.
To celebrate its centenary, Chevrolet is giving 100 cars to SOS Childrens' Villages, a charitable organization that provides loving homes for children in need. The competition winner will be commissioned to make a film documenting the lives of SOS children.
